What To Do In A Pet Emergency
If your pet is showing signs of a medical emergency, don’t wait. Call our office first at 336-841-8877, so we can advise you on what to do next. Watch for emergency signs like:
- Open-mouth breathing or severe respiratory distress
- Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding
- Seizures or collapse
- Sudden weakness, unresponsiveness, or extreme pain
While we do everything we can to help urgent cases, there may be times when our team is in surgery or unavailable. In those cases, calling ahead allows us to direct you to the nearest emergency facility without delay.
Why calling first matters:
- Confirms doctor availability
- Helps us prepare if we can see your pet
- Saves valuable time by guiding you to the closest emergency center if needed
Your pet’s health is our top priority. If your pet is facing a serious medical issue, don’t hesitate, call us right away. We’ll help you get the care your pet needs, whether it’s at our hospital or an emergency center nearby.
