To the clients of Skeet Club and Total Care Veterinary Hospitals! As the corona virus pandemic continues to spread and affect an ever-increasing number of people, we are strongly committed to providing continued veterinary care for our patients, in a manner that protects both our clients and our staff. In accordance with recommendations of the American Veterinary Medical Association and protocols of the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, we will be instituting new procedures effective March 24".
Until further notice, we may be limiting surgical appointments for routine spays, neuters, and dental cleaning. This decision was made based on recommendations by the CDC and NIH in an effort to help conserve supplies of personal protective equipment. We also ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell and/or are exhibiting any respiratory symptoms, or arrange for another person to bring in your pet.
For the safety of your family and our staff, we are implementing a new social distancing protocol and are providing “curbside service”. Once you have arrived, please call us to let us know that you are here. Please let us Know the model of your vehicle and the best phone number for us to reach you. We will gather all the pertinent information via phone and have a staff member come out to your vehicle to bring your pet inside the building. Please have all dogs on leashes and cats in carriers. Once your pet has been examined by the doctor, the doctor with then call you to discuss their findings and answer any questions or concerns you may have. After the examination and any other procedures are complete, we will call you to take payment over the phone and we will bring your pet and any medications or food items back to your vehicle.
Boarding: We will continue to offer these services. Please call us when you arrive. Only bring any food and medications your pet should have and do not bring toys or bedding. We will provide fresh bedding daily for your pet’s comfort.
Medications: Please call us ahead and when you arrive for pick up. Payment can be made over the phone and one of our staff will bring the food or medications out to your car.
We will continue to provide the highest level of care and compassion for your pets and know that we are here for you! We thank you for your understanding and your partnering in these changes to make a real difference for our community and our citizens.
